Irwin Isaac Levy, 64, of West St. Paul, formerly of Duluth died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, in his home.

Irwin was born in New York City to Harry and Anna Levy. He was a member of the congregation Mayim Rabim in Minneapolis and African Violet Society. Irwin was the husband of Rabbi Sue Levy, who was the rabbi in Temple Israel in Duluth. He worked in the Scenic Cafe while living here.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Irwin is survived by his wife, Rabbi Sue E. Levy; daughters Miriam (Allan) Oberstein of Silver Spring, Md., and Abigail Levy of Houston; a brother, Benjamin F. Levy; and a sister, Janine Von Essen of Philadelphia.

Service: 1 p.m. today in Hodroff & Sons Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Interment is in Sons of Jacob Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, your donations to Congregation Mayim Rabim or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Shiva will be said in his residence.
